What MySamantha stores

Does MySamantha keep my Notes and Journals?: Yes, your Notes, Journals, and To-Dos are stored securely so you can access them anytime.
How is my data protected in MySamantha?: We use strong encryption to keep your data safe both at rest and in transit.
Does MySamantha use encryption when sending data?: Yes, all data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
Are my passwords stored safely?: Yes, passwords are hashed, so no one can see or retrieve them.
Is MySamantha end-to-end encrypted?: MySamantha processes your data with AI, so full end-to-end encryption isn't possible. We ensure your data is always securely handled during processing.

Does Samantha store data from third-party integrations like Email or Calendar?: We don't store the raw data extracted from Email or Calendar. Only the responses generated by Samantha using that data are stored in the app.
How are my sensitive tokens (Email, Calendar) stored?: Your sensitive tokens are securely encrypted and stored so only Samantha can use them for your account.

What does Samantha do with my data when AI is enabled?: Samantha uses the content you share with her to generate responses and personalize your experience. That processing is done through our AI providers, and only for that purpose.
How does MySamantha use my data for personalization?: We analyze your app activity to build personality traits and personas that make Samantha more helpful.
Does MySamantha listen to my microphone or device?: No, MySamantha only processes what you share directly.

What happens when I turn AI off?: Samantha and AI-powered features are disabled. Your Notes, Tasks and Journal continue to work as a non-AI workspace. While AI is off, your workspace content is not sent to AI model providers.

What is Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)?: BYOK lets you connect your own supported API key or model for eligible AI features.
How are the API keys I provide protected?: Any sensitive keys you provide (e.g., BYOK) are protected using user key-based encryption, keeping them secure and accessible only for your account.

Do you use my data to train outside AI models?: No, your data is only used within Samantha to personalize your experience.

Can I delete my data if I want to leave?: Yes. You can delete your entire account and all associated data anytime. Just go to: In the app → Manage Account → Delete Account Once you confirm, your account and all stored data will be permanently deleted.

Is my data shared with third-party companies?: Your data is not shared with any outside companies. It is only shared with our AI providers for AI processing to generate responses and improve your experience.
Do you follow any security standards?: Yes, we comply with CASA security practices.
What if something goes out of compliance?: Our compliance system detects issues instantly, and we fix them right away.

Who can access my data inside the company?: Only you. Our team cannot view your personal data or conversations.
